Summary
The Human Resources Consulting Teams offer compensation research and recommendations regarding the compensation and classification of staff employees, and the promotion of compliance with applicable laws and policies through education and monitoring, with consideration for the individuals we serve as well as for the best interests of the University as a whole.
Compensation consultative services include:
- Wage and salary research and recommendations
- Assistance with creating or modifying job descriptions and hiring specifications
- Assistance with requests for new positions and reclassifications of existing positions
- Consultation relating to unit startups, reorganizations, and reductions in force
- Fair Labor Standards Act issues
- Technical assistance with preparing pay authorizations
